Meet the Family
Gwersyll Trebared is run by Dai and Llio, along with their two sons Gwern and Rhun — and Begw, the family dog. Two generations farmed this land before us, and that heritage of hard work, resilience, and community remains at the heart of everything we do. Gwern and Rhun's grandparents still play an active role on the farm today, bringing invaluable knowledge and experience to daily life.
Dai & Llio
Dai has spent over 40 years in agriculture — from dairy and crop farming to building the farm's beef enterprise and embracing renewable energy through wind turbines, solar panels, and a biomass heating system. A forward-thinking farmer with a lifelong love of rugby and family. Llio, originally from North Wales, has enjoyed a successful legal career spanning over 35 years. She is equally devoted to family and community life.
Gwern & Rhun
Gwern trained as a professional actor in Cardiff and London and is also a qualified teacher. Rhun holds a Master's degree in Real Estate and works as a Trainee Surveyor. Both currently live in Cardiff but return home as often as they can to spend time with family and friends.
